Glenaire’s nursing division holds an enviable record of health care, receiving the highest marks from both state and federal regulators. Our goal is to provide the ultimate in medical, supportive care while creating a home-like environment for our residents.
The Glade, an on-campus adult day center, is part of Glenaire’s continuing care retirement community in Cary NC and provides supervision and daytime care in a lovely setting. Participants in The Glade are individuals aged 65 and older who are experiencing minor impairments, either physical or cognitive, and are in need of socialization and support in a structured setting. Many participants are living and coping with early stages of dementia. While participants are attending The Glade, family members can continue with their routines, whether that routine involves work or a game of golf.
The Creekside Café is a popular dining option for a more casual dining. Residents and guests may order from a menu, choose the chef’s daily special, or short-order from the grill. The Creekside serves from 7:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m., and it may be reserved for private parties in the evenings.
All of the Glenaire apartments have location, location, location as an attribute. Residents enjoy the easy access within enclosed, windowed corridors that allow individuals to walk to meals, the beauty shop, and the on-campus activities without going outside.
Cary is convenient to museums, sports complexes, performing arts, universities, and medical services. With its 30 parks and greenways, arts and crafts festivals and outdoor recreational opportunities, most residents can’t believe how pretty Cary is.
Glenaire Cottages are located on a cul-de-sac that circles the Dunham pond. The pond is home to fish and a family of Mallard ducks. Residents enjoy strolling around the pond, playing a game of Bocce Ball or participating in a yoga class on the lawns by the pond.
With more than 4500 books and periodicals, our Library is a great place to do some armchair traveling or keeping abreast of the news. The Glenaire Library is run by a committee of volunteers from the Residents Association. Library services include books, magazines, newspapers and audio books. The library is staffed by resident volunteers several hours daily, but residents are welcome to visit the library at any time.
