Glenaire is one of the continuing care retirement communities managed by The Presbyterian Homes Inc. in North Carolina. The flagship community Presbyterian Homes of High Point was the first CCRC in the southeast to receive accreditation. Glenaire opened in 1993 in response to several churches’ requests to establish a retirement community in the Raleigh / Cary area. The campus includes a Community Center which houses an auditorium, bank, three libraries, two dining venues, a beauty/barber shop, a music and art studio, and an aquatics and fitness center. The apartments and cottages are located immediately adjacent to the Community Center. Life becomes very convenient when most of one’s needs can be met with a short walk down the hall. Freedom from the worries of home ownership allows Glenaire residents time to participate in numerous programs and activities.
As a continuing care retirement community, Glenaire offers both assisted living and skilled nursing in addition to the independent living community. An adult day care center and medical clinic complement all levels of care, providing a seamless progression of services.
Life becomes less cumbersome with provided services including maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping, transportation services and quick response to health concerns.
