Activities and Services

All residents are voting members of the Residents Association. They elect a Council which coordinates a broad range of committees and activities. The Council is also a channel of communication for residents with Glenaire's management and voluntary Board of Trustees. The innovative Glenaire staff, working together with the elected Residents Council and eleven resident committees, takes advantage of the facilities in order to plan and carry out a wide range of educational and recreational programs.

The centrally located Community Center is the focal point for much that happens at Glenaire. It is connected to the apartment buildings and Health Care facility by enclosed walkways, the Community Center houses the following:

• Recreation and game rooms
• Craft areas
• Porches and terraces
• Gift shop
• Bank
• Post office
• Beauty/barber shop
• Resident storage area
