Monthly Charges

• Apartment residents receive two meals per day and provide out of pocket expenses for personal telephone use, some food, and beauty/barber shop visits
• Cottage residents receive one meal per day and pay their own electric and natural gas bills
• IRS allows CCRC residents to claim a portion of the entrance and monthly fees paid as a health expense
• Monthly charges change according to the accommodations and services used
• The monthly charge is not intended to address personal medical needs other than emergency medical services (costs associated with visits to physicians and dentists, hospitalization, and therapies should be covered by Medicare and various insurance options)
