Assisted Living
Residents who can live somewhat independently but, for health reasons, require help with daily tasks benefit from the Health Care facility's Assisted Living program.
Within Assisted Living, distinctions are made according to nursing assessments and the confirming orders of a physician which guide the placement of a resident in one section or another of the Assisted Living facility. Broadly, Assisted Living is divided into Residential Assisted and Medical Assisted, reflecting lesser and greater degrees of dependency upon staff assistance.
The staff offers limited help in bathing, dressing, taking medications, treatment for minor medical problems, and a number of other needs and activities. Residents in this section, as in other subparts of the Health Care facility, have their own dining room, patio, activity room, and nurses' station.
