Insurance
Glenaire requires that all residents maintain at least a standard hospitalization or major medical insurance policy and Parts A and B of Medicare. In addition, acquiring a medigap or supplemental health care policy is recommended.
None of the aforementioned insurance policies, however, takes into account the costs incurred in long-term care. For this reason, Glenaire endorses selected long-term care insurance programs which have been designed to address the gap or difference in cost between residential living and a long stay in Health Care.
This is a large topic by itself, and we are eager to discuss the details and to outline the importance of considering long-term care policies.
However, Long Term Care Insurance coverage is not a requirement for entry into Glenaire.
